Temperature labels are used to measure surface temperatures. These labels change color or darken to indicate temperature. When selecting a label for your application, first decide between a reversible or irreversible indicator. Then consider the direction of approach. Temperature labels are available in ascending and descending versions. Choose an ascending label if you want confirmation that a particular temperature was reached and a descending label for confirmation a low temperature was reached. Temperature labels are ideal for shipping, food processing, storage, aquariums, industrial manufacturing, and electrical.
Temperature indicating labels and stickers are built to provide visual signals when exposed to high heat. Temp indicator labels offer continuous monitoring and records a permanent, irreversible reading for the highest temperature attained. They help prevent breakdowns and shortened equipment life due to overuse or exposure to high temperatures. Temperature sensitive labels are ideal for motors, gear boxes, electrical equipment and product or component monitoring.
Reversible temperature label is able to display temperature changes dynamically and change according to the temperature at the time. Also known as a Thermochromic Thermometer. They have a range of – -30°C ~ 120°C ( -22°F ~ 248°F)
Where a Non reversible Temperature Label is just that irreversible so once the temperature change occurs causing the label to trigger it can not go back. They have a range of 84°F ~ 554°F ( 29°C ~ 290°C).
With so many different types of temperature labels as well as the uses for each one we have made sure to keep our thermal advisors on call ready to assist all of our customers with the selection of the proper temperature label for their specific application.
